I am not familier with that particular brand of scopes and dont know how good the optics are. But you will be amazed by views of the Moon and bright DSO's like M42 The great Orion Nebula and bright star Clusters. Wellcome to CloudyNights.you are going to be limited by the aperture somewhat for the faint fuzzy DSO's. Yes there are many better eyepieces, but my suggestion would be not to spend serious money until you have confirmed your commitment to the hobby and at that point you'd probably want to up grade the scope too, and while I have several premium eyepieces costing several times the cost of this pair, I still enjoy looking through my 32mm plossl and my zoom, when I'm traveling light.Įdited by Taosmath, 28 December 2020 - 02:02 AM.

They'd certainly be a decent set to get you started and would be transferable onto a future scope If you decide to upgrade sometime. These are perfectly decent eyepieces, good value for money, will be fine for a variety of DSO's and will give you the range of magnifications (25x-100x) that you can use with your scope. from Agena Astro ) for about $60 (Be quick on this one - it's actually in stock right now, unlike most other eyepieces !) My 2 cents would be to start with a 32mm GSO plossl (cost about $35) this will give you the widest field of view you can get in your scope. You are likely to get a lot of conflicting advice, so be prepared to sift through to find what makes sense to you!
